New Estate Produced Varietals

S W E E T S

Paint the Town Red
This off dry red is 100% Rougeon grape.  With a little peppery spice and slightly sweet finish.  It is the perfect pairing for BBQ ribs, pasta dishes and aged cheeses.

Norton
This American vinifera is dark ruby in color with a medium body structure.  Dark berries on the nose with herbaceous hints of bay leaf and currants on your palate. This dry red pairs well with BBQ dishes, pork, young gouda.

Chambourcin '19
Meet one of the finest growing grapes in our great Garden State! This meduim bodied dry red has soft tannins with hints of raspberries and a meduim-long finish on the palate.  Our newest vintage of this French hybrid pairs well with game, poultry and sharper cheeses.

Vermentino 23'

Aging: Stainless steel to bottle 

Grapes: 100% Vermentino

Color: Straw

Aroma: White peach

Taste: Citrus & mineral

Serving suggestions: Fresh cheese and salad. To be served at 50 °F

White Tuscan Blend 23'

Aging: Stainless steel to bottle 

Grapes: 80% Trebbiano, 20% Grechetto

Color: Light straw with golden shades

Aroma: Acacia & jasmine flowers

Taste: Fresh and dry

Serving suggestions: Appetizers, baked fish or any white meat. To be served at 50°F

REDS

Sangiovese 22'

Aging: Stainless steel to bottle 

Grapes: 100% Sangiovese

Color: Light ruby red

Aroma: Light cherry & violet flower

Taste: Fresh & well-rounded

Serving suggestions: This is made to be a typical “table wine” paired with pizza, pasta, etc. To be served at 60 °F

Red Tuscan Blend 22'

Aging: 18 months in oak barrels 

Grapes: 80% Sangiovese & 20% Syrah

Color: Deep red w/ purple shades

Aroma: Black cherry, prune & vanilla

Taste: Full bodied & persistent

Serving suggestions: Aged cheese & red meats. To be served at 60 °F

 

Merlot 22'

Aging: 18 months in oak barrels 

Grapes: 100% Merlot

Color: Vibrant ruby red

Aroma: Intense

Taste: Raspberry, blackberry & herbaceous

Serving suggestions: Red meats and aged cheeses.  To be served at 65 °F

Tickle Me Pink

Our semi-sweet Catawba is the perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes, Asian cuisine and sunsets. 

Respect Your Elders
Our Elderberry semi-sweet blend is back.  Sweet and tart this is a well rounded blend.

Cabernet Franc '20
This is a medium bodied dry red wine with nuttiness, hints of black pepper and tobacco. Barrel-aged in neutral oak for 42 months this red is the perfect accompaniment to red meats, pasta and strong cheeses.

Get Plowed
This Plower favorite is a combination of our French hybrid grapes with a zing of citrus. Available at our Mount Holly location only.

Merlot
Our full bodied dry red wine was  barrel-aged in neutral oak for 24 months. This red is the perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes, pasta and grilled meats.

Red & White Sangria 
An Iron Plow favorite! Refreshing and full of flavor, our sangria is sold by the glass or pitcher

Black Horse Red
Medium bodied red blend, with an earthly , red & blue fruit nose.  On the palate raspberry, sour cherry, earth & leather.  This wine benefits greatly by serving it slightly chilled.  Aged 42 months in neutral barrels.  Pair with pasta, hamburgers & BBQ.

Lemberger
Full bodied red wine with a nose of black & blue fruits.  Fruit forward palate, with a big sweet black & blue jammy character.  Aged in neutral barrels for 36 months.  Enjoy this a party or pair with a decadent meal.
